Morston, Blakeney & Cley next the Sea

We will meet in the car park at Morston approximately ½ hour before sunrise (exact time to be confirmed in advance of workshop). Here we will catch the sun rising along the creek, this is one of our  favourite places for a sunrise. There is a lot to photograph with boats old and new moored along the creek, the beautiful saltmarshes and of cause our dramatic big skies.

 

It’s then off to Cley next the Sea where after a late breakfast (included in price of workshop), and a chance to discuss what you have learned so far and for us to answer any questions arising from the morning, it’s off to photograph the landmark that is Cley Mill, and surrounding reed beds.

 

Finally it’s back to the cars for the short distance to Blakeney where we finish the day with what is hopefully a spectacular sunset over the quay and estuary.

 

The workshop will concentrate on teaching the techniques needed to capture landscape images in the camera rather than relying on the computer afterwards. With a maximum of 6 guests per workshop we will have plenty of time for some one-to-one tuition for the novice but also the locations will challenge even the most experienced photographer.
